Good morning all.
As some of you may remember, I enjoy(ed) mucking around in PS. So I thought (on my current quest to post a thread in each forum category) I'd ask who else shoops da whoop from time to time?
What do you mainly use it for? Any tips you want to share?

I use photoshop mainly for menu buttons and stuff for my website. been too lazy to actually do anything with it though lol. i also use it to scan in photos and sometimes even documents. I would like to know (if possible) if theres any way to do a twain aqquire that will automatically crop the white border or even the picture period, instead of having to manually crop it. This is frustrating when trying to import many pictures. i used to have software that came with an old printer of mine and that did exactly that. now i know that pretty much anything you use with twain aqquire will automatically use the software that somes with your printer/scanner, but is there any way to get it to use anything else that has that feature instead? lol im not sure thats a photoshop question or not, but photoshop is what i import my pictures to so if anything can be helped it would be greatly appreciated.

Always amazed me how so many people can afford software that has a price tag of £600+
I personally use GIMP
http://www.gimp.org/
I used to use it for messing about with random pictures, nothing actually specific or interesting. The odd 'old paper' effect to a photo etc... nothing special. |
