Blizzard have actually teamed up with Dell to create a specified World of Warcraft XPS gaming laptop...which I think sounds really cool but I bet it will cost a fortune to buy. Not sure when its due out but it will definately be worth looking at

That wouldn't surprise me. It'll have a custom painted chassis, and the spec will be pretty decent, but when you probably cost together a laptop of equal spec and then that one, the non WOW'ed laptop will come out cheaper no doubt, but because it's got WOW on it and some decent paintwork people will want to buy that over the other one...
It might even be based off a Alienware laptop ( http://www.alienware.co.uk/main.aspx ) as Alienware is a part of Dell, and they do some nifty looking laptops...
Marketing, separating people from their money...
Though I must admit, Falcon Northwest did a fantastic job of this one...

But then, that's one of their cornerstones, they will custom paint anything you want onto your computer, so they are allowed to get away with it

I thought I replied to this ages ago - musta dozed off.
err-hmmm uh, yes, Tower power. In addition to all Helen said (swing a cat?? go right ahead brave one!!) if you *do* have to get at the back of a tower it's much easier than a desktop IMHO. I never understood why the marketeers took so long to figure out accessing the plugs and ports should be *EEEEZZZZZ* not cussing difficult. And to think they make the money they do. I wonder when somebody is going to figure out we have the technology to make a box with outlets and no matter what you plug into it the correct circuits come alive and your VCR, DVD, BlueRay, camera, camcorder, cable box, digital converter works with your TV. It all works. no more yellow, white, red, firewire USB, cable, electric - one kind of port one kind of plug. POOFF!! it works.
