Not that I was a fan of drink offers but they are thinking of putting a minimum price on booze and stopping certain offers on drinks.
Do you think that there should any rules like this put on the sale of alcohol? Do you think this will help prevent binge drinking or put already struggling pubs under more pressure?

I think it's a dumb idea all the way around. If people want to drink they will drink. Just like people on welfare buying brand new 30,000 dollar vehicles, or the never stop climbing price of gas that they have to put in them. It'll just hurt the business people and the patrons (maybe not even them) _________________ Keyboard not connected, press F1 to continue. |

My first thought was the government should focus on giving people *fewer* reasons to drink in the first place.
There are ways around the ban though. Instead of "all you can drink" offers just offer membership into various clubs. The "drink a whole keg" club, the "drink half a keg" club, etc., etc.
Just charge the same "all you can drink" price and let'em have at it. _________________
