Minty's birthday has made me think about my upcoming birthday.
It's my big 2-5 so I wanted to do something special to celebrate.
For Minty's 30th we went to Go Ape

which was great fun! In the past for birthday's we've done casino nights, trips to theme parks, meals out etc
I've grown out of going around pubs for my birthday and I prefer something a bit more active and entertaining.
So what can you think of that myself & my friends can do for me birthday?

Nothing stopping you going with a group of people who would want to do that
Could have a 'laid back' day for those who want something 'easy' and then another day for those who would like to do other things

@ Helen - both the parascending and the gliding look really interesting, but as you say are more solo events, so perhaps not ideal for a birthday party. Group-wise bowling is always fun, I have never been go karting but it looks really fun - would you like to go paintballing or something like that?
Its really tricky deciding what to do for special birthdays - its my 21st today and I have no idea what to do for it really. My parents wanted to get me something special, perhaps tickets to go see a show, but there isn't really much on that I want to see enough to justify the ticket price really. I think we are going to go to the Isle of Wight and have a 'llama picnic' where the llama carries your picnic and then have a nice meal and stay in a nice hotel, which I would really enjoy. I wanted to do something with my friends but my knee has put an end to that plan as I have returned to my parent's house instead of being at uni, so I might do something when I return for graduation or something. Also, quite conveniently the village my parents live in is having a beer and music festival this weekend, so I will be able to celebrate with my family and some friends who live nearby then, and I am really looking forward to it

And Helen, I think you ought to do whatever you want to, its your birthday so have fun with it. as for Idea's, I have none, I havn't celebrated my birthday in any significant way for many years. This year will be my 21st though so Im thinking I'll throw a party.

The *same* hotel room? - everyone just sleeps where they fall ? - if so someone needs a camera, it'll be like a game of drunken twister where everyone just decided to stop half way through

Everyone could fall in such a way that they look like some sort of metal sculpture with everyone propping everyone else up
