I remember V ! ( the original, haven't watched the remake )
Mum's boyfriend seems to want to give Outcasts a try

Fringe looked pretty good, I saw the intro a month or so before I was due to fly somewhere I think.

Lets not put ideas into my head
How's this for another 'oldie' sci fi show. Northstar

I enjoyed that - an astronaut passes through a magnetic field on his way back to earth and when he's home he realises he has super powers when he looks at the sun. _________________ I should update my sig. What to put here for $CurrentYear ? |

Thanks for all the suggestions - keep them coming!
I'm currently watching 'Sarah Conner Chronicles' - showing the life of Sarah & John between Terminator 2 and 3. It hasn't grabbed me yet but I'm still watching. _________________ Helen, the Administratrix of www.area51newmexico.com

I was going to give Outcasts a go, but I haven't got round to it yet. It looks promising.
I don't know if it counts as Sci-Fi really but I am loving Being Human at the moment: http://www.bbc.co.uk/beinghuman/
I am going through more of a murder mystery phase at the moment - I am obsessing about Bones.
The Game of Thrones looks amazing - I am hoping it will come to British telly soon! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZ5p18wIQEI _________________ ~~~I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minuite of it!~~~

I'll go with the Star Trek camp. If you want good laughs check out Lost in Space. The Robot rules. . . . Oh, it's all over Amazon so it prob is somewhere else cheaper. _________________

Rach - I have Bones on my 'to watch list'. I do love the books.
What is Being Human about? _________________ Helen, the Administratrix of www.area51newmexico.com

I have not read the books, but I really need to. I have been told that the series differs quite a lot from the books. I think the cast work really well together and it really works as a show.
Being Human is about 3 20-somethings who live together, but there is a supernatural twist. One is a vampire, one is a werewolf and one is a ghost. I don't want to say too much in case I ruin any plot lines, but it is brilliant. The show mostly focuses on how the group try to lead normal lives and not draw attention to themselves, but how various factors make them fail at this. Plus the vampire is hot, which helps... _________________ ~~~I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minuite of it!~~~

Even tho women may want to rip out other women's eyes for being hot they nonetheless don't mind acknowledging another woman is hot.
Sooo, is the hot vampire male or female?

Thanks Rach - I have added Being Human to my list.
Oh! One show that I absolutely loved was 'Flashforward'. It's kinda a 'mainstream' sci-fi show, the kind that I would imagine that non-sci-fi fans would watch & enjoy. The first season was brilliant and much recommended! I'm not sure how season 2 will work though..... (you'll know what I mean if you've seen the first season)
Watched the first few shows of Fringe - really enjoying it so far. I'm loving the mad sciencist! _________________ Helen, the Administratrix of www.area51newmexico.com
