If you had to invite 4 famous people, dead or alive, to dinner at your house, who would pick?

I'm still thinking of mine so I'll let you know who I pick later:P

Stephen Hawking

Isaac Newton - Born in Lincolnshire did you know?

Leonardo Da Vinci - I admire his curiosity, the fact he never stopped questioning.

I'm undecided between

rms

Giordano Bruno

Honourable mentions

I do feel like I should add Albert Einstein in this as he would match up very well with my other line up. However ( and having not met any of them I am unable to actually say who would be a 'good' person to have at a dinner party ).
I feel that while people such as Isaac Newton, Leonardo Da Vinci and Bruno were there at the beginning Albert built a lot of things on top of their work. I would like to be there at the inception of those ideas and to share time with the people that came up with the ideas that made other such great people possible, hence why they have won out.

Carl Sagan because of what he captured in his 'Pale Blue Dot' quote.

I'm still thinking about mine. Einstein would be pretty cool. And so would Stephen Fry (the TV presenter) as he's very funny and clever.

Perhaps, it would be better if I invited people of lesser intelligence than me? Might make me feel better?

It'd make me feel worse.

If you had a load of stupid people around you, don't you think you'd become bored very quickly?

It'd be like talking to the characters in Idiocracy
