I completely missed the line "What can your phone do?" Your pics look like the stuff you get from Apple's desktop app PhotoBooth. It prob has a hand held cousin.
I just watched the 1hr50min event video from this years WWDC, World Wide Developer's Conference hosted by Apple. The OSX Lion, iOS 5 and the iCloud are truly groundbreaking.
You will no longer need a PC or a Mac to set up, use, restore or sync an iPod, iPhone, or an iPad.
Go see, go see. I know it's long but when you're babysitting a hurricane you have time for 2hr tech videos. Even a couple of 5 minute Chinese bra commercials.
