You're in the supermarket (not yet paid for your goods) but you're really hungry and/or thirsty.
Is it right to eat and drink your stuff before you've paid for it and then hand the empty wrapper to the checkouts for scanning? _________________ Helen, the Administratrix of www.area51newmexico.com

I say it depends on the circumstances...now being a parent I allow my son to eat stuff before we have brought it but I don't think I would do it myself if I was hungry. _________________ Some people are like Slinkies .....Not really good for anything but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Yea, when I worked in a supermarket most of the 'pre-eaters' were parents feeding their kids It still annoyed me _________________ Helen, the Administratrix of www.area51newmexico.com

Yeh I guess if I worked out on a checkout I would find it annoying lol...I tend to give my son something thats packet in a packet...like wotsits or quavers...never gave a checkout person an empty packet lol _________________ Some people are like Slinkies .....Not really good for anything but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

I can totally understand parents letting their kids eat, but have voted for "no" as its not your food till you have paid for it lol, so its technically wrong! |

i would have to say dont eat a 7 course meal, but there have been a couple occasions where my daughter would want a banana because she was really hungry and we had been out all day so i figured why not? or maybe open a bottle of something. i could count on one hand how many times ive done it, but i will say this; if i eat/drink something before its paid for, i pay for it and throw it away myself, rather than hand it to the cashier _________________ Keyboard not connected, press F1 to continue. |
