There's a fair bit of evidence for this and has been proven quite a few times.

It all goes wrong when people take it to the nth degree, 'chocolate is good for me? - i'll eat this family sized block of chocolate all for myself'.

Is this thread why I find it really hard to put weight on :O
To put weight on I need to cut down my chocolate intake?

I have a few theories on this.

* People who eat a small amount chocolate might also eat small amounts of everything else and therefore have a balanced diet (of all the food groups), thus they stay fit and healthier

* People who deprive themselves of food and skip meals are actually buggering up their metabolism. It has been proven that eating breakfast speeds up your metabolism for the day ahead and aids weight loss and a healthy lifestyle. Maybe eating a small amount of chocolate regularly also keeps your metabolism fast (thus keeping slim)

* Some people are buggers and can eat whatever they want and keep slim!

I fear this is me. There is very little out there to help you gain weight though. Go into any Boots store for example and look at their sandwich range. Yes, there's loads of different sandwiches to help you loose weight, but where are the 'help you gain weight' meals?

Everything is built around fat people ( must be the increase in their personal gravity ).

Where the women at work can quite happily talk about the latest fat fighter meeting they've gone to and I mention I can't put weight on to begin with, I get a very hurtful stare.

Where is the help for people wanting to put weight on?

No wonder the word 'bastard' is appended onto the word 'fat' so much, not only do they eat all the cake and pies, they take up all the self help lessons as well!

I would like a balanced put weight on diet. McDonalds are unhealthy. You know how fat people get balanced weight loss plans? I want a balanced weight gain plan.

No, the answer is not 'eat more'. I have the same problem a fat person has except in reverse ( probably ). I eat, I get to a certain point that I feel full and I stop. To keep going would make me feel bloated and satiated. I've been there before and it's not a pleasant feeling. It also makes me feel ill and beyond a certain point i'd probably end up bulimic which is not the answer either.

Don't get me wrong, my weight is what its supposed to be for my height but i'm only just in the healthy range. An extra half stone or so would be good.

I've got a spare half a stone, you can have. Absolutely free of charge!
