After an intellectual post like that I feel the need to demand an essay on the ignorances of todays society, from a teenage perspective.
And I haven't even been unleashed yet

OK, its cool. I just couldn't resist the jab. It's the utlimate irony when people write about ignorance and misspell it. I do as bad or worse believe me.
Not to change the subject but my iPod song count is slowly but surely catching up with my post count. As of now:
Posts = 5125

Helen, just downloaded two more CDs of Elis.

Killer good!!
{edited by moi} Just ordered a new iPod battery. I will have had mine for 2 years this September but got tired of not being able to use the light to see where I am etc., etc. Still very good battery life but using the light one day would kill the battery right away, another day it wouldn't. Can't stand instability. Only change is worse which is why I've put off the new battery. Did I ever mention I was born 3 weeks late? Anyway. It comes with a kit e.g. tools instructions etc., I'll let you know how it goes. If I ruin my iPod you'll hear me crying and wailing all the way to where you are. _________________

Bummer!!! if you edit your post the edit does not constitute a new post so no one knows you added anything unless they haven't signed in since before the original post in which case it doesn't matter but everyone else who read the original post thinks they've seen it all and won't be back till some one replies which in *this* thread might be 6 weeks from now.
So you are forced to double post so people will know there's something new to read and then you are left asking yourself "does anyone really care that much?"
Well if they don't care they need go find something else to do, right? Right?? _________________

WHOOO HOOOO!!!! My new iPod battery came today, it's installed and working and now it is charging. The first time I put the case back together the charging plug didn't line up well enough to accept the plug so I had to re-open it and fiddle with it some more. Opening the iPod is without a doubt the most unnerving thing I've done since I first worked up the courage to kiss a girl the first time. Ooops. That might be a clue to my age, you younguns today don't know what I'm talking about in terms of a kiss. You probably have to muster the same boat load of courage to suggest a threesome between you, your girlfriend and her Mom.
Anyway it's all good, can't wait to see how long it will play now. The stock batt was 750mAh this one is 1200mAh, or about 84% more play time*
*if if if and and and but but but blah, blah, blah. And if Venus and Mars line up just right. _________________

I wouldn't say I'm bored on Femme-metal - I've just exhausted the supply of bands so I'm not finding any (good) new femme metal bands.
Yes minty! You keep forgetting! When I next see you irl, please can you supply me with copies of Paradis Lost and that other metal band you were talking about - weren't they from Yorkshire? Or were they Norwegian? _________________ Helen, the Administratrix of www.area51newmexico.com

Paradise Lost are from Halifax, so they are from Yorkshire.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paradise_Lost_(band)
Bal Sagoth are from Yorkshire also
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bal_sagoth
Dimmu Borgir however, are from Oslo, Norway.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dimmu_Borgir
I may of mentioned all three at sometime.
Funny ( to me anyway ) footnote
As I was typing out the above post, I meant to type the second 'r' in yorkshire, but because the 'r' and the 't' are so close together, I mistakenly made a small typo. Didn't mean to. _________________ I should update my sig. What to put here for $CurrentYear ? |
