Just wondering before we get a chance to look at the new one, who of the previous bonds was the best?
Also what do you think of the new guy, on first impressions? Do you think he could be a decent bond? _________________

The best and the original, Sean Connery. I don't know why they haven't chosen him for the new one?!
Mind you, I didn't mind Pierce Brosnan, he was rather nice.
Other than the fact the new guy is blonde, what's up with him? I reckon he'll make a good Bond. _________________ Helen, the Administratrix of www.area51newmexico.com

Yes, Irish!
And Statham should stick to his day job, cause he can't act for toffee! The 2 transporter films (and I mean both, 2 was still cool!) were only good because of the action and rather good script.
Back to the topic...
I don't really rate Connery! He was better than Dalton, but that's like saying he was better than a piece of turd.
And Lazenby was the bomb! Despite what everyone says I think he did a great job in OHMSS! It was a different side of bond, but then it had to be for the storyline to work!
My favourite was Moore. He was far moore fun!
Brosnan was quite cool.
If I had to list them in order (I don't include Lazenby, because although I thought he did an excellent job, I don't think he could have ever played bond again!):
Moore
Brosnan
. . . . . . . . . . } Possibly the other way round, depends on my mood
Connery
Turd

I liked Statham, he was in Lock, Stock as well... ...ummm isn't acting his day job?

Loved aalpha's response to that, if you hadn't seen OHMSS then as he only appeared in 1 film, then you can only judge him on 1 film - a bit like first impressions, to get a fair judge of character I think you need to see them a few times before you can sound them out properly.
I thought Dalton was ok _________________ I should update my sig. What to put here for $CurrentYear ? |

George is by far the best of all the Bonds, he is the only one who actually kept true to the essence of James Bond. Most of the films don't show it but James Bond is supposed to have a slightly dark side. On her Majesty's Secret Service actually shows this side of him. _________________ Dark Angel ~ Joint Greatest Arsehole 2006
