Sorry to go back to an old topic but I've just had a thought for a thread.
If you had to could you live happily without TV? Now be honest with yourself.
I'd be ok as long as I had the Internet to get my news from and watch DVD's on. _________________ Helen, the Administratrix of www.area51newmexico.com

Apart from TV, I also...
Listen to old-time radio shows.
Play the piano.
Read.
Write.
Type.
Surf the 'net.
Play computer games.
Fix pens.
Collect pens.
Watch movies.
Collect DVDs.
...Yeah, I can safely say that in the event of the TV exploding, I would have enough activities to fulfil my time and not worry. _________________ "How extravagant, Ricky, throwing away women like that! One day they may be scarce"

@Shangas - way cool non-tv passtimes.
Me myself, if I had no tv, I'd just go to MacDonalds, keep ordering MacJunk and refuse to leave until I died of a heart attack and got cremated. I always wanted to go 'to go'. The go-to go-go guy. |

I probs would be able to last without a TV even though I do watch quite a lot of stuff. But I have soo much stuff I could do, I just don't. The TV is a big distraction. _________________

I might miss not being able to see something historic like how bad the Democratic Nominee is going to get skunked in November but as you all point out there is the net and radio. _________________
