It's late, I just remembered about my poll (was relieved to see I have 15 minutes left) and couldn't think of anything to poll about. I looked around my room and I thought of books. Then an epic song came on.

Music. What are you doing right now? Experimenting? Mainstream Genre?

Come on, we all do music here.

~ AVARiCE

(Ten minutes left... I rock.

Unimaginative. Disappointment and fail are related words here.

I'm same as always - but always open to ideas. I just need to be bothered to actually listen to them!

Your polls are starting to become as interesting as the queen's speech.
So much so, that Channel 4 started doing an alternative version, it's different each year.

Think i'll start doing an 'alternative' version each Friday.

Wow. Critics everywhere. I guess that makes me one too. Anyway, I still like and dislike what I always have liked and disliked but I listen to Pandora to try and open new door so I had to go with Experimenting.

I don't know if Pandora is this flawed all the time or just on some things. I created a station the other day for the genre "Southern Rock." It came back with "These Eyes" by The Who, "Eight Days a Week" by the Beatles and sumin by Creedence Clearwater Revival. The third one was getting warm but I deleted the station. I like The Who and the Beatles but they are NOT NOT NOT Southern Rock.

I just copied my list of entries from iTunes into an excel spreadsheet.
56 entries per page for 92 pages plus 34 on page 93 = 5186. Less than 50 are non-music things e.g. Monty Python bits and podcasts.

I'll go through and get a well rounded sample of the list but to be entirely honest I get tired of any music quick so I'm never in a rut. I use Pandora to find indie artists no one would know about. As you know I even use YouTube to track down TV ad background music like Santogold in the Ford Flex ad. And the Mercedes ad which led to "Smalltown Boy" by Bronski Beat.

update coming. . .

Umm well I could say I've been revising for exams but that'd be a lie so I'm just gonna say I've been very lazy.

Bradders I take it you've heard it. That's another song "HEAD SHOULDERS KNEES AND TOES" awful but for some reason addictive. Anyone else agree with me?

You've introduced me to a song that's far worse than 'Jizz In My Pants' - thanks for that.

Yeah I thought they were both the same. TBH when I heard it on the minibus (long story, was going to a tournament with the younga's) and head shoulders came on the radio. At least that's bearable. Then the bastard producers decided to put on Migraine Skank straight after, at which point I just used my headphones. So yeah, it kinda just blended into an unpleasant few minutes.

The wonderful logic part of my previous sentence means that regardless how good Jizz In My Pants is, the logic works fine. Just so long as you believe that Jizz is better than migraine...

Actually that didn't come out right... ...my last sentence, not... oh nevermind, Bubble knows what I mean.

EDIT - Thanks, you've got me singing 'Jizz In My Pants' now. Thanks for that.
