What Country do you Hail from?

Just curious where everyone is from here.

When you say the country/county/state/region you are from, please say what you think that place is famous for what is stereotypically of that place.

I'm from Yorkshire, England. England is famous for tea, the queen, The Beatles, football hooliganism, etc.

Yorkshire is famous for cricket, the Pennaies (the hills) and having down-to-earth northern people living there.

Beaches for fishermen, naturalists, historians, and of course sun worshippers.
Mountains with all their beauty and tranquility.
And all the ways of life in between; city, country, small town.

im from england. i used to live in the south of england in east london in a town called dagenham which is famous for fighting, boxers and well boxers really...we produced loads like nicky cook. also for those who follow english football WEST HAM UNITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm from oldham county, Kentucky

Kentucky is famous for: Chicken (it is good chicken), horse racing, being rednecks/hillbillys, where the simpsons are from.

kentucky sterotype: rednecks/hillbillys, dont where shoes (not tru)...

(north) oldham county is famous for: breeding horses, breeding more horses.

(north) oldham county sterotype: stuckup, being filthy rich (wish i was), incredable school system

I've now moved to a little town called Gainsborough in Lincolnshire.

Gainsbrough is, apparently, big for drugs. There's a saying in Lincolnshire "if you can't find drugs anywhere, go to Gainsborough" which is worrying.
