looks like that but without the step below the doors. Working with the bank now and hope to have good news tomorrow, but expecting them to say no Sad

has 360Hp and 380Lbs of torque, the tow rating is 12,300 Lbs!! it's got the 6.0 litre engine and 4.10 gear ratio in the axels so it will pull my camper much better.

We want to do some big trips next year like yellow stone national park or Alaska, or all over California. Just need a new truck first so we dont kill the truck we have now.

Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Just needs bigger wheels perhaps? - the last warwgn looked a serious off roader, that one looks like it needs some different tyres and suspension before it'll go off road, or is this not intended for off road?

I have everything crossed for you... If not, is there a plan b? - save up a deposit for a few months and get something like it ?

Promise me, if you get it, you'll not use all that torque and pulling power? - otherwise the truck will stay in the same place and the planet will just rotate under the wheels.

I've gone cross eyed as well just in case, hurry up i'm starting to see double!

Oh I still got the warwgn, this is gonna be the wifes truck, she needs a 4X4 for the winter time so she can drive herself to work. But while I am at it might as well get something useful too. You are right it does need a little bigger tires with more agressive tread, but it wont see much "off-roading" per say just needs 4X4 capablity.

According to XE

4,000.00 USD = 2,508.57 GBP

I'm sure I don't need to tell you to be assertive, you're already capable of that i'm sure so next stage, how are you at haggling?

Are you able to wait until the end of the month and with there being a recession on most sales guys are looking at their end of month targets, could you walk up to someone who looks like he might wield a bit more power around the place ( so no pimply faced youth's ) Say you have $X right now to give for that truck, you'll sign today right now, no need for a test drive but this amount is all you have.

If they say no, walk away and see if there is anything else elsewhere for the price you've got?

The only alternative if not unfortunately that I can think of at the moment is to build up a bigger deposit Sad

Well the truth is it's not the haggling, I have bottomed out every dollar available. I have 4K in MFG rebates, plus 2800 in my own dealing then 7K of trade in value and was kicking in 1k down, so lot of money off the top. The main problem is the pay off on my wifes truck is more than the real trade value since her truck has over 100k miles on it, that leftover bit has to get rolled into the new truck so it off sets about 5K of the discounts. All up I just need about 3k more than I have to get the truck I want right now, so I may have to wait unless I can pull some real crazy shit!!

well wound up getting the half ton model. it still has 315 HP and 338 torque, and is rated to pull 9500 Lbs, so it will get the job done just fine. Plus I did not have to come up with another 3K!!

It will do for a wifes truck Laughing

It's not the warwgn, but it is 4X4 so she can drive herself to work this winter. Now I can spend more money fixing up my truck!!
