Now this is a 'man's job'
A team will travel from New Zealand, travel to Antarctica, then once there battle the 'hostile' environment, for what? - oil? - no! - whiskey!
Yep, all that for 2 crates of McKinlay and Co. whisky.
To a woman, this would be folly. To a *real* man, totally understandable and a rational thing to do.
They can't bring them all back either, under Antarctic Law, the rest must stay put.
Out of interest, have you seen the size comparison of Antarctica to the USA ? - here it is courtesy of NASA

Wasn't the joke I was hinting at
It was more of a :-
Man : I am going to stride forth, go to one of the most inhospitable places on earth for 2 bottles of whiskey.
Woman : Can't you just go to the supermarket instead?
Man : Never! This type of whiskey isn't made anymore! I can start it up again perhaps.
Woman : I'd prefer to stay in, where it's warm so I can curl up in front of the fire with my cup of drinking chocolate while reading a good book. Besides, i'm sure there are plenty different types of other whiskey.
So to prove my point Helen which of those options would you prefer ?
Go to Antartica to recover 2 bottles of whiskey ( which has sunk ) or stay in where it's warm?
Which sounds more sensible? _________________ I should update my sig. What to put here for $CurrentYear ? |

You left out the "cup of drinking chocolate" in which case it would not even be a discussion.
btw, is your "drinking chocolate" by chance what we call "hot chocolate"?

Although I do like the idea of adventure and Antarctica is a place I'd like to go to someday, there are far more interesting things to find, I'm sure like hidden space ships. I like the option above best.
aalpha - oooooo I wonder if that guy in the video is single! He can make proper old-fashioned hot chocolate.

Yes, 'drinking chocolate' is quite an old fashioned way of describing it, it's what your grandma would call it. I just call it Hot chocolate. _________________ Helen, the Administratrix of www.area51newmexico.com

We called it hot chocolate since before I was born, thus all while I was a kid. _________________
