Is this the end of cute piglets?
Have a read of this.
So would you eat this 'grown' meat? Can I nibble it as a veggi? _________________ Helen, the Administratrix of www.area51newmexico.com

Let me get this straight. The tree huggers want to take on the animal lovers so we can "eliminate tons of greenhouse gasses emitted by farm animals."
These folks' goal is to e-lim-i-nate gasses which means e-lim-i-nat-ing piggies. Peta didn't catch that minor note when they responded with "As far as we’re concerned, if meat is no longer a piece of a dead animal there’s no ethical objection.”
Surely they don't think pigs will stop farting just because bacon comes from a lab instead of a pig farm.
Anyway, I'll take the real bacon thank you. _________________
