I've been saying this for ages...
This story is in The Sun by the way, so it's all lies.
Despite me hearing this on national radio this morning, then on local radio on my way to work, then on the website owned by The Times ( Link courtesy of Helly )
When he was first handed the keys to Number 10, one of the closest aides to the government called him 'Stalin' due to his opressive nature, and I made that news thread here, you lot thought it was funny.
I even posted a picture of him looking like Stalin ( complete with red soviet background ) he was the spitting image of him!
The most funniest things are usually funny because they are true.
Therefore, these stories of him being opressive have never gone away, they have always remained, surely if he was far nicer these stories would never of surfaced, or been proven wrong and subsided.
Tony Blair had his detractors, no one accused him of being Stalin.
John Major was considered grey, dull and boring, but never opressive.
Margaret Thatcher ( Comes from Lincolnshire you know ) was dubbed 'The Iron Lady' - she had power, drive, commitment and had her own share of detractors but she was never called Stalin.
I say the quicker this clunking fisted, cycloptic scottish overlord soviet was removed from the steering wheel of power the better for all concerned. _________________ I should update my sig. What to put here for $CurrentYear ? |
