Grats to Icey and Rach (and anyone else I have forgotten!), who have just finished education forever. I was very sad to leave uni & school and very reluctant to join the world of work. Good luck to your futures!

Well, I haven't finished with education forever, as I am starting another degree in September! But it will be a fresh start as I am going to be studying a completely different subject (the conservation of historic artefacts as opposed to archaeology/history/Englist lit/lang)

This may be a bit early to start thinking this far forwards, but were you planning on going back to work, at least part time once you've given birth?

Same company etc Smile ? - will you stay in touch with anyone you met from there?

I am planned to return to work for the same company once my maternity leave is over...but most probably only part time to begin with. I am very good friends with a few people at the company so are always in contact with them Smile

@IceMan: I am aiming to do a Masters but because I am changing what I study I am doing a Postgraduate Diploma as a sort of 'introductory course'. If I went straight on to the Masters I would be in classes with people who had been studying this for 3 years as undergraduates, which I might find too difficult to catch up. I am trying not to jump too far into the deep end and give myself a chance to learn the valuable skills they will have learned in their undergraduate course.
