There's a scene in the Disney film 'The emperor's new groove' where they are tied to a tree and are floating down a river... as befits these scenes they always have a waterfall nearby.

However, Christie Glissmeyer ( part time barmaid and full time daredevil ) claimed the 'women's kayaking world waterfall record' by kayaking off the end of a 82ft waterfall
Yep, they have a recognised world record for women who kayak off waterfalls on purpose...
She's a member of Femme 45 which is a women's kayaking adventure team.
