I'm thinking about buying a small hand-held computer console - to keep me out of mischief!
What do you reckon is a better buy - a Playstation Portable or Ninetedo DS?
What games are available for each? Any good ones? _________________ Helen, the Administratrix of www.area51newmexico.com

I wanted a handheld console and after much thought I got the Sony PSP...I guess it depends what your looking for, I found the Nintendo had more games for kids then what the PSP did, although some of the adult games are strategic games. I prefer games that I usually play on my main console i.e. xbox...so went for the PSP. _________________ Some people are like Slinkies .....Not really good for anything but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

I've always wanted a PSP, but ended up getting a DSi because I got addicted to the lego games. that, and i went to get a PSP and they dont sell the ones i want anymore; all they have now is the PSP go which i dont really like the fact that you have to download all your games, so i went with the DSi which was there and i didnt have to go searching online for it. I still want an original PSP, though. _________________ Keyboard not connected, press F1 to continue. |

NDS has a longer battery and loads games quicker because it uses cartridges but the PSP uses CDs so it has to spin them up and so takes longer to load and uses alot more battery.
I think it just depends on what your wanting it for really as the DS also has internet now doesnt it? _________________

Games don't take long on my PSP to load up & also my battery lasts for days considering the amount I play it _________________ Some people are like Slinkies .....Not really good for anything but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Yes the DS has internet access. Theres a lot of games you can play with other people that have them as well wirelessly. I think it's pretty cool _________________ Keyboard not connected, press F1 to continue. |
