5AM hit the snooze, hit it again at 5:09, hit it again at 5:17, rollover and grope, I mean hug the wife for a few min. Get out of bed put eye drops in, get in the shower, shave my head and wash off. Get out of shower, dry off and brush teeth, go get back in bed, grope, hug the wife a little more and kiss her good morning. Get back out of bed and get dressed. Go let the dog out, wake the oldest child up to get ready for school. Pack up the laptop and head to work. _________________ I'm faster than you!!!!!

Apart from my alarm going off 15 minutes earlier, my daily morning weekday ritual goes something like Helen for myself. I leave the house around 730ish. Sometimes it's 745 and that's bad.
I use a radio alarm clock as I think it's a nicer way to wake up, at least my alarm can surprise me in the morning as opposed to being the same monotone beeping that some other alarms are. Anyway, I once woke up to the following 'surprise' being said on the radio
'It's now time for thought for the day'
*That* was a very bad day. _________________ I should update my sig. What to put here for $CurrentYear ? |

8.30am - Get out of bed & get dressed
8.45am - Change Luke's nappy & then give him his breakfast
9.15am - Do housework whilst Luke plays with his toys on his playmat (also at this time on a Thursday I take Luke to Parent & Toddler Group)
Rest of my day is to chill with Luke... _________________ Some people are like Slinkies .....Not really good for anything but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Being a shift worker 'morning' is subjective, but half my work times are day shifts so lets assume that its one of those and everthing is going as planned:
0450: Wake up, shower shave get dressed
0505: Make breakfast watch some morning news on TV
0530: Make lunch, pack my bag
0545: Leave for work
0615: Arrive at work
0630: Official clock on time
0730: First patrol
Looks like Im the earliest riser, does anyone get up before 0450?
Alternately If I stayed up later the night before or am particularly tired I'll hit the snooze once or twice, get up 10-15 later and end up at work at 0625, hungry, bleeding and without lunch. Because trafic increases exponentially for every minute later I leave the house. _________________
