I love vidya. No two ways about it. All of this despite not being an overweight neckbeard.

You have three tiers; God-Tier, Awesome-Tier and Good-Tier. Beyond that, the world devolves into a hell where every game must fight it out for mere survival - think of the Bargain Bin at your local overpriced vidya store.

Which games are you going to save? If you put WoW at God-Tier you need to seek medical help. I'd suggest you don't even finish reading this sentence, just reach for a phone and do something. You just read the sentence, didn't you? And that one? I've got you right where I want you.

Pass me the phone:D

Actually! Tell you a secret, I haven't logged onto WoW since..... thursday I think and that was only for 20mins or so. To be honest, I've gotten a little bored ot it.

Hence my thread about buying a PSP or a DS. I'm also looking for a new hobby.

As a stop-gap, I'm now playing Dungeons & Dragons Online. It seems pretty good so far - I'm only at level three. It does seem a bit repetitive in terms of questing (even more so than WoW!)

Ok Av...

I think everyone know's my favourite targets on here, MMORPG bashing is also one of mine. You're not being original you're just copying me now. You claim you're awesome but you're just a pale shadow of me 2 years ago.

Hmmm pc games...

I may need to think on this one, though no doubt the pc version of mah jong will feature. I wont play that game now because I get too addicted to it. Other placings will have to wait.

D&D is pretty much only questing. It gets much better late-game but it's not like other MMORPG's where you have skills and other "free-role" things which take up considerable amounts of time.

I have superior Greek genetics which mean I'm tanned. Therefore I can never be a pale anything of you.

On the other hand, you're always a pale version of me.

Lawyered.

@alienator

Good, keep it up. I'm sure there's a support group. Razz

Yes I was very surprised to find out last night that there aren't any trade skills or professions! Craziness.

Halo was the PC game that really make me addicted to enjoy games as I was not so interested in games and now I never miss any of the good chance to catch it .

Much to my horror, I have slowly gotten bored of WoW

Therefore, I have decided to expand my horizons and try othetr games.

My first on my list is Lord of the Rings Online

http://www.lotro.com/free.php?

Although it is created by the same people who did DnD (and that didn't fill the gap for me) and still willing to give it ago.

If LOTRO doesn't work out, my next port of call is Eve Online:

http://www.eveonline.com/

I'm far more intereted in sci-fi than fanasty anyway:)

Has anyone tried LORTO or Eve? Any comments, tips, suggestions?

I've always had the thought of EVE in the back of my mind, just never really bought it. Maybe one day.

Anyway, this is you

You do know that Firelands is due soon ?
