Footballer Luis Moreno is proof of this well known quote when he kicked an injured owl that was on the pitch.

I think he should be handed a very stiff fine. I don't care what your passion is - cats, dogs, birds, or horses, a defenless animal hasn't got a chance if there is no human available to rescue it.

The owl could have been treated and released to the wild if asshole hadn't kicked it like a ball of paper. Mad
